Description
Tier Tray
Use this fabulous, versatile display stand for appetizers, tea sandwiches, desserts and don’t forget cupcakes. It is perfect for weddings, baby showers, birthdays, or just for fun for any venue.
The cupcaketree was designed by a structural engineer specifically to bear the weight of hundreds of desserts or appetizers. The Cupcaketree features a slot and groove truss structure which evenly distributes the weight allowing you to place as many cupcakes as you can fit in the tiers.
The top tier can be used for any number of decorations such as floral arrangements and small cakes. It can handle up to 5lbs
LARGE CUPCAKE TREE *
The large tree is 21 ” high
It holds 250 cupcakes as you see it, if you use all the tiers. You do not have to. Layers can be left out as long as they are in succession. You can leave out the top two etc….oh, you can also leave off the top and the bottom so there goes my fancy word succession. You can not leave out the middle one.
The disc’s are 4″ apart and works for a 3″ diameter cupcake etc. etc.
Bottom tier disc is 34″ (75 cupcakes)
Next tier disc is 28″ (50 cupcakes)
Next tier disc is 22″ (30 cupcakes)
Next tier disc is 16″ (20 cupcakes)
Top tier disc is 10″ (8 cupcakes or a 5lb single cake)
If you eliminate my skirt idea you can surround the lowest tier with another 50 cupcakes.
Medium CUPCAKE TREE*
The medium tree is just under 15″ high
It holds 75-100 cupcakes etc.*
Disc’s are 3″ apart and works with a 2″ diameter cupcake
Bottom tier disc is 20″ (36 cupcakes)
Next tier disc is 17″ (24 cupcakes)
Next tier disc is 14″ (18 cupcakes)
Next tier disc is 11″ (15 cupcakes)
Top tier disc is 8″ (7 cupcakes or a 5 lb. single cake)
*You can also surround the bottom tier with 50 more cupcakes.
SMALL CUPCAKE TREE The small tree holds up to 40 cupcakes on its three tiers. You can surround the bottom tier with an additional 25 cupcakes.
Tiers from the top or bottom of the trees can be eliminated without compromising the integrity of the structure.
Before this creative invention Caterers had to buy or rent very very very expensive tier trays and not even have the ability to personalize them for the client, lest we make a scratch !
Now you can let your glue gun and imagination run wild. Use to kick up your buffet presentation, for centerpieces, even for party favors.
The photos I have displaying the Cupcake Tree here, and under Servingware, do not in my opinion maximize their potential. With a little bit more attention to masking the infrastructure I think the art of your presentation would be long remembered.
#1 Spray paint it to match your color story.
#2 Use a fabric or tulle swag to skirt the bottom.
#3 Accent the edges ( glue gun) with coordinating ribbon, ribbon bows, tulle bows, topical charms, shells, Mardi Gras beads, luau leis……….
